We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website vituber.my.id, use our mobile application "Vituber" (the "App"), or otherwise engage with our services (collectively, the "Services"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time (see "Changes to This Privacy Policy"). Your continued use of our Services after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Personal Information You Provide to Us:
- Account Information: When you create a Vituber account, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, password, date of birth, gender, and other similar information.
- Profile Information: You may choose to provide additional information for your user profile, such as photographs, videos, a personal description, details about your interests, preferences (e.g., dating preferences), lifestyle, location (city/region), and other information you choose to share. Some of this information may be considered "sensitive" in certain jurisdictions (e.g., sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, if you choose to provide it). By choosing to provide sensitive personal data, you explicitly consent to our processing of this information.
- User Content: We collect the content you create, upload, or receive from others when using our Services. This includes messages you send and receive through chat, photos and videos you upload, comments you make, and your interactions with other users.
- Communications with Us: We collect information when you communicate with us for customer support, to provide feedback, or participate in surveys.
- Payment Information: If you make purchases through our Services (e.g., for premium features), we may collect payment information through our third-party payment processors, such as your payment card details. We do not store full credit card numbers ourselves.
1.2. Information Automatically Collected:
When you access or use our Services, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and usage of our Services:

1.3. Information Collected from Other Sources:
- Social Media: If you choose to register or log in to our Services using a social media account (e.g., Facebook, Google), we may receive certain information about you from the social media platform, such as your name, profile picture, email address, and friends list, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by such social media platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

- 2.1. To Provide and Manage Our Services:
- To facilitate account creation, authentication, and the logon process.
- To operate and maintain the Services, including enabling chat functionalities, matching you with other users, and displaying your profile.
- To personalize your experience and present content relevant to you.
- 2.2. To Communicate With You:
- To send you administrative information, such as updates to our terms, conditions, and policies.

With Other Users: Your profile information (including photos, username, age, location (if shared), and any other information you add to your profile) and your activity (e.g., when you were last active) will be visible to other users of the Services. Your interactions with other users, such as messages, will also be shared with those users. Please be mindful of the information you choose to share publicly.
- 3.2. With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. Examples include: payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service, and marketing assistance. 4.2. 6. Data Retention
6.1. We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:
- The length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide Services to you (for example, for as long as you have an account with us or keep using our Services);
- Whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject (for example, certain laws require us to keep records of your transactions for a certain period of time before we can delete them); or

6.2. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
6.3. You can request the deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us at support@vituber.my.id or through the account settings in the App (if available). Please note that we may need to retain certain information for record-keeping purposes, to complete transactions, or to comply with our legal obligations.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to:
- 7.1. Access and Update Your Information: You can review and change your personal information by logging into the App and visiting your account profile page.
- 7.2. Delete Your Account and Information: You can request the deletion of your account and personal information by contacting us at support@vituber.my.id or using the account deletion feature within the App. We will process your request in accordance with applicable law. Please note, this is a requirement by Google Play Store policies for apps that allow account creation.
- 7.3. Opt-out of Marketing Communications: You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in those emails or by contacting us. You may still receive non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
- 7.4. Control Location Information: You can prevent your device from sharing location information through your device’s system settings. Note that if you disable location sharing, some features of the Services may not function properly.
- 7.5. Control Cookies: Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies.
- 7.6. Object to Processing: In some jurisdictions, you may have the right to object to our processing of your personal information under certain circumstances.
- 7.7. Data Portability: In some jurisdictions, you may have the right to request a copy of your personal information in a machine-readable format.

8. Children's Privacy
8.1. Our Services are not intended for or directed at individuals under the age of 18 (or the relevant age of majority in your jurisdiction). If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information from our files as soon as possible.

9. International Data Transfers
9.1. Your information, including personal information, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
9.2. If you are located outside Indonesia and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including personal information, to Indonesia and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
9.3. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your personal information will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.
10. Third-Party Services and Websites
10.1. Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Vituber. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these third-party sites or services. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Services and to read the privacy statements of each and every website and service that collects personal information.
10.2. We may employ third-party companies and individuals (e.g., analytics providers, ad networks) for various reasons, such as:
- To facilitate our Services;
- To provide the Services on our behalf;
- To perform Service-related services; or
- To assist us in analyzing how our Services are used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
11.1. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. We may also provide notice to you in other ways, such as through the App or via email, if the changes are significant.
11.2. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
